Bruno Bioni is Founder and Professor of Data Privacy Brasil. PhD student in Commercial Law and Master in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo. He was a study visitor at the European Data Protection Board/EDPB and the Department of Personal Data Protection at the Council of Europe, visiting researcher at the Center for Research in Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa Law School. He is the author of the book Protection of Personal Data: the role and limits of consent. He is a member of the Latin American Network of Studies on Surveillance, Technology and Society/LAVITS, and also of the International Association of Privacy Professionals - IAPP, with CIPP/E Certification.
