Regional Data Protection Manager in a multinational. LL.M Candidate in Innovation, Technology and the Law - University of Edinburgh. First Brazilian woman to be recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy by the International Association of Privacy Professionals - IAPP, which confers international recognition for the expertise and experience in the area. Certified as Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Professional Privacy (CIPP/E). Experience in working on implementation projects of data protection laws and in raising awareness about the Brazilian Data Protection Law (LGPD). Vice-president of the Digital Law and Compliance Chapter of the 17th subsection of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and organizer of the Legal Hackers Chapter of Mogi das Cruzes - SP. Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and specialist in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (FGV-SP), postgraduate student in Law and Technology from Instituto New Law and with courses on digital law and design for data protection. In 2018, she worked for a brief period in projects involving digital law and European data protection legislation in London, United Kingdom.

Certified in Healthcare Compliance by the Brazilian College of Health Executives (CBEXs). Member of the OAB Health Law Commission, the LEC Digital Compliance Commission, IAPP, and the Health and Ethics Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Business Law and Ethics (IBDEE). Fabio was one of the Brazilian representatives at the Internet Law Summer School promoted by the University of Geneva (UNIGE) in 2019. Specialized in Applied Digital Law by Getúlio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo (FGV-SP) and in Privacy and Data Protection by Data Privacy Br. Specialist in Privacy and Data Protection, certified as Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals - IAPP, advises the main national and multinational companies in projects involving the Brazilian Data Protection Law (LGPD) and in topics related to law and technology. Graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, São Paulo, and holds a Master in ‘Computer & Communications Law’ from Queen Mary, University of London. Specialized in Privacy and Data Protection by the Institute of Technology and Society (ITS) and by Data Privacy Brasil. He is an active member of IAPP and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). He was appointed as a reference lawyer in the Media and Entertainment area by the Client Choice Awards in Brazil in 2018, and as a leading lawyer in the innovation and technology sector by the Leaders League in 2020.

Alan Campos Elias Thomaz

Alan is a lawyer specialized in Technology, Data Protection and Cybersecurity, Business Contracts, Venture Capital and Intellectual Property. With over 10 years of experience at a renowed law firm, he advised large national and international companies in matters related to the regulation of new technologies and digital services, drafting and negotiating business contracts, privacy, data protection and cyber security , including GDPR and LGPD implementation projects, regulation and contracts involving information technology, cloud services and e-commerce, M&A operations and venture capital, and the protection of intangible assets (intellectual property), among other matters. Graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, with a postgraduate degree in intellectual property and new technologies and a master's degree in business law from Faculdade Getúlio Vargas (FGV), he was recently admitted to study LLM in Law, Science and Technology at Stanford Law School. Member of the Advisory Board, certified as CIPM, CIPP/E and Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), he is a speaker and author of books and articles on regulation of new technologies, privacy, data protection and cybersecurity, and intellectual property.

Marcel Leonardi

Marcel holds a Bachelor's, Master and Doctor of Law degree from USP and a postdoctoral degree from Berkeley Law. He was Director of Public Policy at Google from 2011 to 2018, where he collaborated intensively in the drafting of the Civil Framework for the Internet and the General Data Protection Law. He also worked on public policy issues in the most varied subjects in the technology and Internet sector. Specialized in the protection of personal data and certified by IAPP in EU Privacy (CIPP/E) and US Privacy (CIPP/US). Author of the books “Responsabilidade Civil dos Provedores de Serviços de Internet”, “Tutela e Privacidade na Internet” and “Fundamentos de Direito Digital”. Marcel has been a professor at FGVLaw since 2005, founding partner of Leonardi Advogados and Founder of Leonardi Legal Learning. Bruno Bioni is Founder and Professor of Data Privacy Brasil. PhD student in Commercial Law and Master in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo. He was a study visitor at the European Data Protection Board/EDPB and the Department of Personal Data Protection at the Council of Europe, visiting researcher at the Center for Research in Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa Law School. He is the author of the book Protection of Personal Data: the role and limits of consent. He is a member of the Latin American Network of Studies on Surveillance, Technology and Society/LAVITS, and also of the International Association of Privacy Professionals - IAPP, with CIPP/E Certification.

Acts as Data Protection Counsel Lead - LATAM on Twitter. Specialist in Privacy and Protection of Personal Data with more than eight years of international experience acting, researching and studying subjects of the most varied related to Law, Internet and Technology, including privacy, data protection, intellectual property, startups, the responsibility of intermediaries, freedom of expression and crimes over the Internet. He served as a consultant to the Council of Europe in the areas of Data Protection, Privacy, Internet Regulation and Electronic Crimes, in Strasbourg, France. He was a researcher in Law and Technology at the NUS Center for Law & Business and Editor at Singapore Law Review, in Singapore, and a CTS researcher at FGV / RJ for the areas of Internet governance and protection of personal data.
